Start-ups
The Start-up Process
The Office of Commercialization (OC) is here to help WSU researchers navigate the path from innovation to the marketplace. We ensure that your valuable discoveries are protected where possible, and prepared for potential licensing by third parties.
Another option you may choose for commercialization is forming your own start-up company. This section contains information that will be helpful in learning about that process. Always contact the OC staff if you need guidance or information at any point along your commercialization path.
Start-Up Guide – This guide briefly outlines the steps to forming a start up company.

The Research and Technology Park has incubator space available; moreover our office can provide funding for further development of “near market” University technologies. Research Park
